Description

Inclusive research design starts with the generation of a problem and ends with knowledge translation. It involves the meaningful participation of users with disabilities as co-researchers throughout every stage of the investigation. This session will provide an overview of inclusive research and methods for engaging co-researchers with cognitive disabilities throughout the process.

Learning objectives:

  • Participants will understand the principles of inclusive research.

  • Participants will learn about strategies to engage co-researchers in different stages of inquiry

  • Participants will brainstorm opportunities in their work to support inclusive research
