Getting from Barrier Free to Delightful: Design for Everyone

Session Evaluation

Class description

Let’s talk about how to build on a base of strong accessibility to create web sites (and apps) that are delightful for anyone (and everyone to use). How can accessibility make sites easier for everyone, and what can usability teach us about better accessibility?

We’ll use the principles for accessible UX (from A Web for Everyone by Horton and Quesenbery) to look at the intersection of usability and accessibility.
