Accessibility: What’s Your Approach?

Class description

If you ask three accessibility specialists an accessibility question, you will get seven different answers. What do you do when you see different solutions that might all pass WCAG 2.0?

For example:
• What really counts as a method to bypass blocks of content?
• Do we really need to measure text size to see if it passes large-text contrast requirements?
• When are headings required and is proper nesting important enough to fail an accessibility test?

I will have example pages and documents for us to debate. We can use any files provided by participants as well. This isn’t a class that provides specific answers; come ready to discuss times when you’ve had to make a judgment call.
