Accessibility Testing for the Rest of Us

Session Evaluation

Class description

Checklist based testing using the WCAG 2.0 guidelines can be daunting for many designers, developers and Q/A specialists who are not accessibility wonks. Mike will walk you through a simplified process that hits all of the high points and helps ensure that your application will be accessible to as broad a group as possible without the need to hire a lawyer to explain the standards. This process uses a few simple web based tools and a simple logical approach that has been very successful at Texas HHS.
