Tom Jewett
Tom Jewett is a retired Air Force officer and Lecturer Emeritus, California State University Long Beach. His primary teaching areas were social issues of computing, database design, user interface design, and Web design with focus on accessibility. He was also Editor and later Chair of the ACM Special Interest Group on Computers and Society. Prior to retirement, Tom was the initial Web leader for the 21-campus CSU Accessible Technology Initiative. He has lectured at both Access U and its California sibling CALWAC, has presented papers at the CSUN and HCII conferences, and continues to work for Knowbility in web site evaluation.
