Accessibility Internet Rally (AIR)
The Accessibility Internet Rally is an exciting web design competition that teaches web developers and designers about the tools and techniques necessary to make the web accessible to everyone – including people with disabilities. The developers show off their knowledge and skills by creating websites for local nonprofit organizations and schools.
Who Can Participate?
- Web Developers (teams of 5 or more) looking to hone their accessible design skills, learn and give back to the community.
- Non-Profits who need help with a professional web site from scratch or to replace an existing site.
- Volunteers who want to give back to the community and get involved in accessible technology.
- Sponsors who want to show their support for accessibility by donating funds, sponsoring a team, or contributing in-kind.
- Advisors who want to lead, plan and facilitate by being on our local boards of advisors.
