New to Access U! Usability Track with Certificate

Created for usability professionals who know how to test for usability and want to learn to test for accessibility. We are pleased to offer a set of classes to build the skills and knowledge you need to help your clients meet mandates and to help you conduct usability tests that include people with disabilities. Courses are delivered within the two day basic conference period and an additional certificate fee applies.

• Sunday evening, May 10th, Welcome and informal meet-up at the Sheraton Hotel Bar 5:00 – 6:30PM.
• Join up with fellow attendees and Instructors for complimentary snacks and perhaps a group dinner excursion to one of Austin’s local restaurants.
• Monday AM – Continental breakfast and plenary session with Whitney Quesenbery.
• Monday lunch – Communities of Practice – facilitated table topics during lunch.

• Lunch on Tuesday and a presentation by Kelsey Ruger.
• Revised meetup destination: Tuesday 6:00PM after classes are over – informal gathering at Opal Divine's Penn Field restaurant and bar near St. Edward’s University.
• Those staying for the post conference – Tuesday night informal groups may want to venture out to try some of Austin’s best offerings of food and entertainment.
• Wednesday 5:00PM after the post-conference – Informal Happy Hour and complimentary snacks for those who are staying over after the post-conference sessions. Location: Sheraton Hotel Bar 5:00 – 6:30PM.
